Description:

Organic Shiitake mushrooms are grown on dead logs of trees. They are becoming more popular because of their valuable nutritional properties. Especially appreciated in Asian cuisine. We recommend a short-term heat treatment (approx. 5 min.). Depending on the use (eg. for sauces) you should soak them for approximately 30 minutes in water before use.
