Pour the milk, egg yolks and oil into a bowl and mix thoroughly. For sweet waffles add 2 tablespoons of xyllitol, erythritol or sugar. For salty waffles add half a teaspoon of salt or 3 teaspoons of grated cheese (e.g. Parmesan). Pour the contents of the package into the prepared liquid and mix. In a separate bowl beat the egg whites until stiff with a small pinch of salt. Preheat the waffle iron. Add the whipped egg whites to the waffle mass and mix gently. Pour the dough into the waffle iron and fry until browned - about 2 minutes.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
